Why This Reference Exists
Michigan law permits access to many public records, but custody information is divided among several systems. The Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office creates county-jail booking records and operates the linked JailTracker roster. Courts preserve the later case history, while the Michigan Department of Corrections publishes OTIS information for people in state prison or under qualifying state supervision. Written records requests cover material that is not displayed online. This site organizes those official paths without reproducing any booking-photo collection.
Information Collected Here
The pages separate current custody from old records and later court outcomes:
- The county recent-arrests hub explains the roster, booking records, warrants, photo access, and lawful correction routes.
- Arrests Last 24 Hours explains same-day checks when no separate daily feed exists.
- The Police Blotter page covers date-range logs, retention, and selected local news.
- VINELink Custody Check describes Michigan custody searches and alerts.
- Records guidance shows how to request a booking sheet or image and how the county’s response process works.
Limits of This Site
This is a privately run reference with no connection to a Michigan government body, the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office, Roscommon County Jail, or the Michigan Department of Corrections.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for anyone.
- We do not provide legal advice.
- We cannot promise that every office detail or fee remains current.
Only the responsible sheriff, court, or corrections agency can confirm custody, booked charges, and release status. Links here point toward those sources but do not replace them.
